Located on one of the highest ridges in Bel Air, the Sky Garden Estate just locked in a sale for $60,000,000 USD. This is one of many exquisite builds by The Viewpoint Collection, and it’s an interesting home that manages to stand out in a crowd of high end custom homes. I have no relation to anyone involved with this project, but have been a fan of the work they’ve done on a few previous homes like the famous Owlwood Estate and my personal favorite 1471 Forest Knoll Drive in LA.

These kinds of properties are exciting to sell and market because you have to reach such a small percentage of the population. Getting the ear of those people isn’t all that easy, even in this day and age of instant social media. So congratulations for finding the right buyer for this piece of livable art. There’s very good reason why most of their properties come with a POR price tag.

They certainly do two things properly that I think are very smart. The first being the carefully selected land parcels the homes are built on, and second their properties stand out in neighbourhoods that are home to the finest properties in the world. The Sky Garden Home was designed by South African firm SAOTA Architects and built by Plus Development Group.
