03 Sep No5 Rosé From Bodvar of Sweden
I’ve just had the pleasure of sharing a bottle of No5 Rosé from Bodvar of Sweden and it was hands down the best rosé I’ve ever had. After our dinner party, this got popped for us as the evening wound down and we enjoy the sunset and the No5. When I think back on the summer of 2012 I will most likely remember that night, the great company and the amazing rosé that was thoroughly enjoyed.
Bodvar of Sweden
Don’t let the Swedish brand name fool you though. This rosé is made and produced in Saint Tropez, France and only the finest local ingredients are used. The detail into making the No5 Rosé includes even harvesting the grapes in cool early morning, and an oenologist monitors every stage from the maturing process right down to the bottling. This wine is vinified at a low temperature to insure the freshness and fruit flavours stay in tact.
You can only buy this rosé in units which include 6 bottles, which is a good thing in my opinion. I wanted more after my first sip and my good friends were gracious enough to send me home with a bottle for my own special evening. I’m not even going to bother illuminating the price here as it’s very affordable and worth every penny. The hard part for us North Americans will be getting our hands on it here locally, so you’ll have to do some digging to find it.
