07 May Luongo’s Yaletown Penthouse Is For Sale

It looks like Vancouver Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo has his Yaletown penthouse up for sale. While my team is getting schooled in the playoffs, Luongo is more then likely getting ready to move to another city and this condo sale should be a big hint. Either that or he’s just looking to make a tidy profit off the sale. I did manage to find what I think was the sale of the condo from a few years ago which went for $3,795,000.

 
The pictures do match the ones released on The Vancouver Sun website so I will compare it with that unless the Realtor listing it gets in touch with us. The Yaletown penthouse is now up for a cool $4,200,000 and while that’s going to seem like a lot to some of our non BC readers, that’s actually an average price for a penthouse here. There is currently a $28,000,000 penthouse for sale just to give you an idea of the crazy prices here.

The area is also home to the Sedin Twins whom I used to see a lot as well many celebrities and generally wealthy Vancouverites. You can jump on the Seawall right outside your door and the entire downtown core is at your fingertips.

Luongo’s penthouse is definitely going to attract a lot of attention from his fans and I imagine this property won’t stay on the market long. I’d personally love to see Luongo stay in our great city but it seems that idea is soured due to the fans here…we’ll see how the rest of the playoffs go I think.
