I just caught this interesting case study via Twitter today done in cooperation with Hootsuite, The Palms Vegas and Media Leaders. These folks experimented with Twitter to see if they could increase conversions through their followers and by connecting with new people looking for a Vegas vacation.
I was particularly interested in this mainly because I always have intense conversations with clients trying to convince them Twitter has a use. Twitter is a great communication tool and there is definitely major profit to be made within the luxury hotel sector.
I’ve time and time again mentioned the importance of building the right relationships as it can and will lead to great things. I especially liked how they targeted Twitter users coming to Vegas and every other hotel across the globe should pay attention.
